2020 BIG BULL RULES;
This is a state wide contest and will start Sept 11 and end Dec 31.
The WINNER of this contest will be determined by highest gross score using the S.C.I. method.There will be NO drying time before measurements. All Bulls being measured must be brought to JR’S TAXIDERMY to be entered and scored.Scoring will be done by JR’S TAXIDERMY. ALL SCORES GIVEN ARE FINAL!!!!!!!!! There will be NO refund of entry fee because you disagree with score given!!!!!
All successful hunters that have entered contest must bring their Bull in within 48hrs of kill.
This contest is for all Arizona Bull Elk hunts from Sept 11 to Dec 31. Using any method of take (Archery,muzzle loader,Rifle, ECT…..) To be eligible for prizes associated with this contest you must be signed up and have your entry fee paid before Sept 11 2020.ENTRY FEES
$30 for youth (any one under 18yrs old)
$40 for adults

This contest and all rules are subject to the laws and hunting regulations of the state of Arizona. All contestants must be legally permitted to take a Elk according to the hunting regulations. All Bulls submitted must be properly tagged in accordance with the AZGFD regulations. all Bulls submitted must have been killed during the 2020 Elk seasons All Bulls submitted for measuring must have antlers still attached to the ENTIRE SKULL !!!!! 2020 / 2021 AZ BIG BUCK CONTEST RULES!!!
THIS IS A STATE WIDE CONTEST !
CONTEST WILL BEGIN AUGUST 21 2020 AND END JANUARY 31 2021. USING ANY METHOD OF TAKE!! ( ARCHERY, RIFLE, MUZZLE LOADER , ECT,,,,,)
There will be 3 classes,
COUES DEER , STATE WIDE
MULE DEER , UNITS 12A, 12B, 13A AND 13B
MULE DEER , FOR ALL UNITS EXCEPT 12A , 12B , 13A AND 13B
Velvet Bucks will be excepted but there will not be a separate category for them. There will be no drying time for either velvet or hard antlers.
Winners will be determined by highest scoring rack. All scoring will be done by JR’S TAXIDERMY using the S.C.I. method . The score your given is finale!!!! There will be no refund of entry fee because you dont like score!!!
Successful hunters that have entered contest and wish to have their Buck scored must bring Buck in within 48hrs of kill to be measured to:
